"Three faces, but many many heads. Our only choice is the mask that you choose. We chose Child. Three heads connected since we were teens in the would-be desert of the San Fernando Valley: Daniel Quintana on bass damage, Thomas James Lemieux with chants n' six string samsara, and I was the karmic dealer of dead skins. Child loud band wrote collectively in depression, love and obsession. We bore so many influences: heavy American/German/Japanese psych n' doom- Church of Misery in particular, Isis, Blue Cheer- all the while accelerating on HIGH!!! Hailz Reagan Youth. Hailz His Hero Is Gone. Danny showed us Rectal Hygienics... Played under a flag made of flowers, a different color for every ideal.

Higher Life offered us a tape version of a 5 song recording we had recently done in the cold capped mountains of Big Bear just in time for a 7 date West Coast run with our pal Roger Seliner in the van with us, a tattoo museum in Fort Bragg being the destination. Eternal hailz Higher Life! TJ eventually went on tour with his other band Babylon in support of Acid Mother's Temple. I took the opportunity to move to New Orleans. Still the sons of Rockers, some of us chose to wear spikes to embrace and some of us chose to move away. I will always love and miss my brethren.
